The “Student Ombudsman” was established at the University of Thessaly with Government Gazette 6019/Β/20-12-2021 and has the following responsibilities:

• Mediation between students and professors or administrative services of the Institution
• Maintaining legality within the framework of academic freedom
• Tackling maladministration
• Preserving the smooth operation of the Institution

The Student Ombudsman has no authority over issues related to student exams and grades.
